In Sri Lanka, where tawashi-making has long been a tradition, highly skilled artisans continue the craft.
Masatsumu Kitayama, a renowned Japanese tawashi craftsman known even among Sri Lankan artisans, visited the country to pass on his techniques and knowledge.
This high-quality palm tawashi is the result of that collaboration.

Compared to shuro (windmill palm), palm fibers are slightly firmer, making them excellent for heavy-duty cleaning of cookware and industrial tools.
By eliminating the traditional side bands found on typical palm tawashi brushes, all four sides of this brush can be fully utilized.
