In order to solve the problem of deer being exterminated in Oze and Minamiaizu Town, we collaborated with Oze deer project, which produces and sells deerskin products. The project is to produce leather goods using deerskin!
In recent years, deer have become a serious problem in Minami Aizu Town at the foot of the Oze Mountains. In many years, as many as about 2,000 deer are exterminated as harmful animals. With radiation and other problems yet to be resolved, most of the deer cannot be used for meat, and most of their lives are still discarded.
By selling collaborative products, we hope to make users aware of the current situation, and by using deerskin, we hope to make use of the precious lives of these animals, even if only a little.
Deerskin is supple, strong, moist, and comfortable in the hand, making it perfect for outdoor leather!　We hope you will experience its soft touch.

Double-edged hatchets are manufactured by Aida Godo Factory in Sanjo. The double-edged hatchets are made by Aida Godo Factory in Sanjo City.

・Deerskin leather case for exclusive use
Roll type deerskin case. It is stored by wrapping a string made of deerskin around it.
*The deerskin strap is designed to be long. Please cut it to just the right length by yourself.

・Deer antler clasp
Deer antlers are used for the clasp of the leather case. By using antlers together with leather, we have created a product that conveys the dynamism of deer that have lived in the great outdoors.

・Collaboration logo engraving
The Oze deer project and the MURANOKAJIYA’s logo are engraved on the surface of the deerskin case.

The leather is made from hunted deerskin and may have rubs and scratches. Please understand this beforehand. Please use it while thinking of “Oze”, a place that symbolizes the protection of nature in Japan.
Deerskin is soft to the touch and strong, but it shrinks when heated, so please be careful. Please do not keep it too close to a fire
