The packaging for our NAGURI Kitchen Knife Series has received the Japan Star Award (Chairman’s Award of the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry) at the 2026 Japan Packaging Contest, organized by the Japan Packaging Institute.

The Japan Packaging Contest is held annually with the aim of promoting the development and widespread adoption of outstanding packaging and packaging technologies, covering a wide range of fields from design to logistics.

The award-winning packaging for the NAGURI Kitchen Knife Series features a one-piece foldable structure, rather than the conventional two-piece design consisting of a separate lid and base. In addition, not only the knives themselves but also the boxes and wraparound labels are produced locally. This commitment to local manufacturing, together with the innovative packaging structure, was highly recognized and led to this award.
