To make 1 cup of rice
Ingredients
- 150 g (1 gou cup) of uncooked rice | |
- 210 cc of waterNote: Water amount should be adjusted according to rice condition. |
Directions
1. | Wash rice with cold water gently. |
2. | Put rinsed rice and 210 cc of water into the cooker. |
3. | Cover with lid and heat over medium heat until it comes to a boil. |
4. | After confirming the rice is boiling (you will hear a bubbling sound, and foam will start to spill from the lid), cook for 2 minutes over medium heat. |
5. | Reduce heat to low and cook for 5-7 minutes. |
6. | Open the lid and check if there is any excess water. (If there is water, keep the heat on low and cook for an additional 1 to 2 minutes.) |
7. | If there is no excess water, place the lid back on and heat for 15 seconds. |
8. | Remove from heat and steam the rice for approximately 10 minutes. |

- Cooking time may vary depending on heat power level.
