Aiming for a slim shape that is easy to work with, carry, and store, TSBBQ created a full-tang hatchet with the blade (blade) and handle all in one piece.
There is no need to worry about the blade slipping or coming off even when pounding away at splitting firewood.
A full-tang hatchet, which is made of metal and the handle as one piece, tends to be heavy at just under 1 kg, but the skeleton construction makes it surprisingly light at 619 g. The head can also be used for pegging.
Peg hitting is also possible with the head part. With this compact size, it can be used as a hatchet or as a substitute for a peg hammer.
The paracord woven into the handle provides a reinforced grip.
It is also good for fine work such as making feather sticks.
Paracord can be added to the base of the blade or replaced.
